If you are a frequent visitor to numerous social media websites, then you would know that different companies advertise their wares on these sites. Sometimes you may wonder how this marketing strategy might help them. You would be surprised to know that this technique of marketing has taken the world of shopping by storm. Most of the companies are using this as a means to make people aware of their services and products. Although such marketing techniques might seem very easy to you, in reality it is not so. You have to hire one of the best experts in social media marketing services. He would be the right person to guide your company along the right path. Many people believe that social media for your business is one of the best ways to gain momentum in today’s world of stiff competition amongst the different firms. One mistake on your part and your business may come down.

Finding the most suitable expert providing services for your business is a really tough job. You have to spend a lot of time in the process and also do proper research before you can decide whom to hire. The main reason behind this is that there are several professionals in the same profession. This has made it very difficult for firms to understand which one would be better than others. Here are some qualities of well known experts in social media marketing services which would help you find the right one faster than before:

Not much explanation needed: All those popular professionals providing SMM services have one thing in common.

Using Facebook and Twitter marketing for your business is like getting twice the bang for your buck. As two of the most visited social media sites, the exposure that you bring to your business and the sales that you generate, will prove what an invaluable asset they can be. As with any other advertising media, you will want to start by checking out how other business are using these social sites and then put together a strategy that will get your business some attention.

While with Facebook you will want to use a business fan page that is actually another page of your personal profile, on Twitter you will need to register an account for your business name. Facebook offers publishing tools and Twitter offers desktop clients, both of which will help you with your strategy for marketing your business. Of course, you will always want to enable all of the share capabilities of every social media site that you use.

One of the most important considerations when tackling Facebook and Twitter Marketing, as well as that on any other social media site; is to make sure that your user names and profiles are the same. A Google search can alert you to any conflicts with other businesses and the consistency of name will help boost your search results. It also helps if you have your own custom domain name if you have a website and a custom email address for your business. Choose something where all of these can be integrated into the same name. There are services online where you can check your chosen name to find out if it is available for your use or if you need to choose another.

Another important aspect of any marketing on social media sites is to be consistent in the message that you send. Even though posts on your blog or website, your Facebook page and your Tweets may be different lengths depending on the site requirements, they should still all communicate the same basic message in slightly different words.

Facebook currently has over 750 million users and Twitter is no slouch, so take advantage of the number of people you can reach out to by using these social media sites. You have the ability to communicate one-on-one with customers in real time; so take advantage of this. Be friendly, but professional; these social sites can make or break a reputation, and without a highly respected reputation your business is doomed to failure.

Use photos whenever possible; just make sure to title and tag them appropriately. Add as many other social networks to your Facebook and Twitter marketing strategy as you can maintain in a reasonable amount of time. If you overload yourself with advertising options, you end up with very little time to ten to the nuts and bolts of your business operation. If you do that, then your advertising strategy will hardly matter any longer.

The keywords for any marketing strategy are link, link and link some more, and be consistent. If you can do these things and master the use of Facebook and Twitter applications, then your business is off to a great start!

LinkedIn is not only a social media website, but mainly a directory of businesses where people search for talent, businesses and opportunities. Talent searches are for the purposes of recruiting, outsourcing, partnering with or consulting. In short, people who can help your business.

There are three keys to success on LinkedIn:

An optimised profile that gives you exposure in search results and pre-sells to your clients

A LinkedIn Group which will also pre-sell to your clients and leads, and subscribing to other groups similar to yours

A deep network which will allow you to be found by prospects and be found more often

How do you optimise your profile?

The same way you optimise your website: With search keywords and key phrases. In this case what people will search for to find you personally. You can find results on how often your LinkedIn profile has been visited in the last day on your page. This way you know if your optimisation is working.

Why do you need a LinkedIn group?

It is like list building. Done right, groups can prequalify leads for you and give you more exposure. More people will find your list which will, in turn, give you more connections.

Why do connections matter?

LinkedIn search is different from Search Engine searches in that it does not search for just keyword relevancy: it only searches your connections in the first, second and third levels. No-one can find you if they are not connected to you in your first, second or third levels.

For example, say you have 77 people in your contacts. They each have say 100 people in their contacts. This will make your second level 7,700 contacts, and your third level, assuming each of them have 100 contacts, 770,000.

Now say you have 500+ contacts, and most of your contacts also have over 500 contacts. This will make your second level 250,000 contacts, and your third level 125,000,000 contacts. This will give you much more of a chance to be found by people who are searching for you.

The way you grow your third level to 125 million, is to make sure you are a super connector, and your contacts are also super connectors, with more than 500 contacts each.

This is how to find super connectors:

Go to “Advanced Search” on LinkedIn, set it to the area you want connectors in, sort the list by number of connections, and offer them an incentive to connect with you.

Now that you know that your search results depend on your connections, you will undoubtedly invest your time finding and connecting with super connectors. LinkedIn will work so much better for you.

Wherever you look online you are faced with icons to “Like” something on Facebook or to “Tweet” the page you are reading. In the printed media you cannot move for mentions of social media and advertising hoarding posters are full of Facebook logos and the ubiquitous “Find us on Facebook” tag line. It is almost as if the business world has forgotten that Google exists. We are swimming in an ocean of social media sharing and swapping. There are dozens of seminars telling us that “social is essential” to our business. And it is – after all, word of mouth is fundamental to every business – so social media cannot be ignored. But have we gone “overboard” with our wish to be social online?

Research suggests we might have done exactly that. In a recent study of where people get information about local businesses, the highly respected Pew Internet group found that social media was only responsible for a small proportion. In fact only 3% of people relied upon social media as a source of finding business information. The bulk of people who used the internet to find local business information relied on – you guessed it – search engines. But even that was only 38% of people. The biggest proportion of people who wanted local business information – 49% – did NOT USE THE INTERNET AT ALL….!

In other words, this research shows us two things. Firstly, if you are trying to promote your business online, then search engines are almost ten times more important than social media. But, secondly, the single most important way of getting people to find out about your business is using OFFLINE promotional methods – particularly public relations because it creates word of mouth.

Many businesses seem to believe that the online world is the ONLY place to promote their business. True it is an important place, but you neglect the offline world at your peril. Equally, if you are using the internet to promote your company, the current pressure to use social media should not be allowed to force you into doing less work with search engines.

What you need, of course, is an integrated marketing approach where your online and offline activities are interwoven. If someone sees your poster on a local advertising hoarding they should only need to type in the headline phrase they saw on the advert to find you as “number one” on Google for that.

The Pew Research was specifically about local businesses, so perhaps the results might have been different for international business. However, most business is local; even big brands need local customers. So even though the internet may take on more importance for global brands than for smaller businesses, ultimately local marketing is essential to gain sales. And the research from Pew Internet suggests you should concentrate that in two areas – offline media and search engines. Social media is the least of your worries; if you concentrate most of your promotional efforts on social media you could be wasting your time, losing business as a result.

Improve Google Rank – The Facebook page application allows you to create your professional page for your business, products, or services. You can create links to your website within the page, or within any other reference links you’d like to include, such as for books you’ve written. Yet another way to help improve your Google rank.

Unless you’re living under a rock I’m sure you’ve heard of social media. This term consists of all your social networks like Facebook. It also consists of Web 2.0 sites like Squidoo, HubPages and Weebly. So how exactly do you use these sites to promote your main website? In the following article I am going to go through some of the ways I use Facebook as a method of site promotion.

I use Facebook for a lot of things. Including my own personal life and my business. I know if you’re a business owner, I’m sure you’ve been told that you need to have a Facebook page. If you don’t have a Facebook page I am going to tell you again to make one right now! Facebook is the best site around for promotion, so start using it. To view my Facebook page as an example, check out the link at the bottom of this article.

There are a bunch of nifty things you can do with your Facebook page to get more likes but for now I am going to go over the free easy methods that will make a big difference in your social marketing. The number one tip I can offer is that a Facebook page is like a blog; if it has stale content it is no good. Make it look like your page is actually visited. If you make a video put it up on your page and do the same if you write a cool article. Offer great free information and more people will want to like your page. It is that simple.

Your Facebook page is like any website. It probably isn’t going to do much at all if no one is visiting it. You need to generate traffic to your site. There are a bunch of great ways to generate free traffic to your site. Here are a few great examples that you can start using today. My top method I use to generate free traffic is article marketing. This is a method of promotion that has been around for ages because it works great. Write an article and submit it to EzineArticles or contact a blog owner and see if they’ll put it on their site. You can also make Squidoo lenses and HubPages. Check out these sites there are great for free traffic.

If you only take one thing away from this article, remember that you need to have a Facebook page. Facebook is the biggest site on the world wide web. Once you have your page ready to go put up quality content and you should be ready to go. Don’t let your hard work go to waste; make sure people are visiting your page so make sure you are driving some quality traffic.

Want to build more traffic for free? Learn my favorite traffic building technique. I’ve used this technique to get 2309 visitors with 10 minutes of work. Get my free video course explaining this technique for a limited time.
